Boulangers

Hello

The Boulangers (bakers) are a group of parishioners who each week makes the communion bread for both the 8:00 and 10:00 services. This is a commitment that happens approximately every 5 weeks. The baking schedule is set up on a quarterly calendar.

​Volunteer to bake and join the Boulangers! If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Martin.


You will need a window of about 3 hours total time to bake the bread. The finished,
cooled bread is usually delivered to the church on Saturday morning (9:30am) while the Altar Guild is setting up the church for Sunday services. A “foolproof” recipe for the bread is provided and as an added bonus, when you bake, your house is filled with a “heavenly aroma.”

 

Our current Boulangers are: Beth Beisecker, Kristi Blundell, Cyndy Bodenlos, Marian Chin, Cisca Hansen, Jay Janton and Kathy Martin.
