Pageant Players
YEP, IT’S TIME TO SIGN UP!
Begins NOVEMBER 2nd! 11:30-1pm
For young people Age 7 (2nd Grade) and up
St. Paul’s Church has a strong tradition of its children telling the story of Jesus’ birth for the Christmas Eve worship service. This year we are inaugurating a new program that takes this tradition to a new level. Young people in second grade through high school are invited to sign up for a series of Sundays after church to learn the story of Jesus’ nativity and find ways of connecting this story to their own life and world view. The result will be the Christmas Pageant at the 4pm Christmas Eve Family worship service.
Beginning Sunday, November 2nd at 11:30-1:00pm, young people will gather for fun, friendship, intriguing activities and rehearsals all as part of their preparation to produce the Christmas Pageant for the St. Paul’s Community. No previous experience is necessary! There is a place for you!
Children, toddler to first grade will be invited to be part of the pageant on Christmas Eve as angels and other characters who come to adore the birth of the Messiah!
Pageant Players will be held 11:30-1pm as follows:
November 2nd
November 9th
November 16th
Dec. 7th
Dec. 14th
Dec. 21st
Who should consider this? Young people who love to act, who love to sing, young people who love to lead worship, young people who want to learn more about what really happened in Bethlehem, young people who want to know what Christmas is really about, young people who want to serve their community and give something to others at Christmas time.
Registration forms for this program can be found in your Children and Family Ministries packet, downloaded or picked up on the Parent’s Bulletin Board on the stairs to Sunday Journey classes and please send them to The Rev. Julie Graham or Dr. Susan Matthews.
Its GOING TO BE SO FUN!
