St. Paul’s in entering a year of exploring the ways adults grow in faith.  We will be offering various opportunities to reflect on faith, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

We will also be asking you questions about the things that would support, nurture and challenge you as you seek to grow in faith.

Rector's Forum
The Adult Forum meets every Sunday from 9:00 - 9:45am in the Higbie Library in the Parish Hall.

When the disciples first encountered the resurrected Christ they were both overcome with joy and stunned!  But it was not long before they fully grasped their calling to spread the good news of Christ to all the world. What was it that drove them, and propels people still, to the far ends of the earth with this message of good news? What was the fire in their hearts? What was the message they brought, and how was this message received and lived out.

During the Easter season we will follow these disciples on their journeys and get in touch with the fire in our own hearts as well. As a base we will explore the New Testament book of Acts.

May 8: A presentation about Mission led by Bob Anderson, missionary with his wife Barbara to Cameroon, and then to Liberia.  This session will include other stories of mission from our congregation as well.

May 15 - June 5:  Running With Fire – A History of the early Church – why were the disciples so on fire? – Study of ACTS.

June 12: Kindling Fire in our hearts: a review of Adult Forum 2010-2011, and looking to the year ahead.
